Curiously, several of those cars sported both Jomar and TVR badges at the front.

There were two versions being offered:

The Jomar Level 2 sports car was available with either a fibreglass or metal body and a Coventry Climax motor
The Jomar Coupe was fixed with the 1172 cc Toyota 105E motor and a fibreglass body
Both versions applied the same chassis.

Nearly all production was exported to the US, wherever the activity version was known simply whilst the Jomar.

By this time around, it had been thought that the name Jomar had work its program, and that the more emotive designation was required.

The name Grantura was opted for in recognition of Grantura Materials, who created the bodies.

Thus, the TVR Grantura sports car was born.
